Fit Guide
Made to Fit Their World
Every dog is built differently. The THOM Fit System is designed to make choosing the right fit simpler, using three clear steps:
Measure · Match · Check
Rather than relying on a single standard across every product, always use the measurements and size information provided for the specific item you are considering.
1. Measure
Start with your dog’s current measurements.
Depending on the product, the size guide may ask for measurements such as:
-
Neck
-
Chest / Girth
-
Back Length
The exact measurements required can vary by product, so always follow the individual product’s size guide.
For detailed measuring instructions, visit our How to Measure guide.
2. Match
Compare your dog’s measurements with the size chart shown on the product page.
Choose the size that most closely matches the measurements requested for that product.
Some THOMDOGPAW products may use different sizing systems depending on their construction, fit, or intended use, so do not assume that the same size will fit across every product.
If you are unsure which size to choose, you can use our Free Fit Check for additional help.
3. Check
Once the product is on your dog, check the overall fit before regular use.
The product should sit securely and comfortably while allowing your dog to move naturally.
Check that:
-
The product is positioned correctly on the body.
-
Fastenings and adjustment points are secure.
-
Your dog can walk, sit, and move comfortably.
-
The product does not appear excessively loose or restrictive.
If the fit does not look or feel right, review the product’s size guide before continued use.
A Better Fit Starts With Better Information
Our approach to fit is simple:
Measure carefully. Match the product-specific size guide. Check the fit on your dog.
Different dogs have different proportions, and different products are built for different purposes. That is why THOMDOGPAW uses a product-specific approach to sizing rather than a one-size-fits-all rule.
